Smooth natural or polished
Aquarium Pebbles and Aquascaping Stones
Aquarium substrate has to be smooth enough not to injure fish, stable enough not to alter water chemistry unpredictably, and sized so waste does not become trapped underneath. Rounded natural pebbles in the 5–20 mm range meet those requirements in most freshwater setups.
Because water chemistry matters, tell us the tank type when you enquire. We will confirm which of the current stock is appropriate rather than recommending a decorative stone that only looks right.
