Application guide
Pebbles for Mosaics and Craft Work
Craft and mosaic work needs stone selected for shape and colour rather than volume. Flat, evenly sized pebbles set into mortar or resin; irregular pieces do not.
Order more than the calculated quantity. Sorting for shape and colour typically leaves a meaningful proportion of any batch unused.

Suitable pebble types
- Coloured pebbles
- Tumbled pebbles
- Red pebbles
- Multicolour pebbles
Recommended sizes
5–20 mm for most mosaic and resin work; 20–30 mm for larger panels.
Recommended finish
Polished or tumbled — smooth surfaces bond and read better in finished work.
Colour selection
Buy the full colour requirement together so tones match across the panel.
Quantity considerations
Add 25–30% over the calculated area to allow for shape and colour sorting.
