Marble Chips vs Pebbles
Same brightness, very different behaviour underfoot and on a slope.

The visual difference
Marble chips have freshly fractured faces that catch light sharply — the effect is crisp and slightly formal. Rounded white pebbles read softer and more organic in the same position.
Practical differences
Chips interlock, so they hold on slopes and in narrow strips. Pebbles are more comfortable underfoot and less likely to catch on bare feet or pet paws.
Choosing between them
Use chips where the stone must stay put or where the work is cast into flooring; use pebbles where people walk, sit or touch the surface.
