Decorative Pebbles for Home Entrances

Scale the stone to the space
Entrances are small, so oversized stone dominates. 10–20 mm in a defined strip alongside the path reads better than large rocks in a confined porch.
Light it
A single low-level uplight or a strip of ground lighting across a pebble band changes the entrance completely after dark, and it costs less than most planting.
Keep it contained
Use a firm edge and keep the stone level slightly below the threshold, or you will be sweeping pebbles off the doorstep every week.
