How to Clean Decorative Pebbles
Most pebble cleaning is a hose and a rake. The exceptions are worth knowing.

In the garden
Rake out leaf litter first, then hose from one side so silt washes towards a drain rather than into the middle of the bed. Do this before the monsoon rather than after.
Heavily soiled stone
Lift it into a bucket or sieve, rinse and replace. It is slower than hosing in place but far more effective on stone that has silted up.
What to avoid
Acidic cleaners etch marble and limestone. Wire brushes scratch polished surfaces. Pressure washers displace stone and can tear the membrane below.
