A city expanding faster than its infrastructure
Patna's residential belt along Boring Road, Patliputra, Bailey Road and Kankarbagh has been redeveloping steadily, with older bungalows giving way to apartment blocks and gated societies. This shift has changed the nature of pebble demand: instead of a handful of independent houses ordering small quantities, we now see society management committees and builders ordering for common areas, entrance driveways and podium gardens as a single coordinated purchase.
At the same time, older established houses and hotel properties across the city continue to order in smaller, more occasional quantities, usually for courtyard refreshes or adding a decorative strip along a boundary wall. Government properties in and around the city also form a steady, if less frequent, part of demand, typically for maintained frontage areas that need to look presentable year-round.
